Pastor William Morrell Washington accepted the Lord at the age of 17.  He attended high school at Kendall Jr./Sr. High School in the mid 70’s.  He also attended D’ Youville College in Buffalo, New York.  He received an AOS degree in accounting and data processing from the Rochester Business Institute.  His religious studies were achieved at Colgate Divinity in Rochester, New York.  He became a member of the Holy City Church of God in Christ, Rochester, New York at birth where his parents, Elder William M. Washington, and Missionary Rosa B. Washington were members.  In 1966 his father, the late Elder William M. Washington, was appointed pastor of the Royal Church of God in Christ.  It was then Elder Morrell Washington, became a member of the Royal Church of God in Christ.  He was one of the first drummers and piano players of the church.  Pastor  Morrell Washington became a member of the Lily of the Valley Church of God in Christ in 1983 to 1993 where he served as minister of music and a trustee board member.  He received his calling to the ministry in 1992 and was ordained in 1998 by the Late Bishop Leroy R. Anderson, Jurisdictional Bishop of Western New York.  We are blessed to have such a dedicated Shepard and leader.
